Vaclav Cilek and Alexander Stipsits
During the summer of 2012 Prof.Vaclav Cilek, (Director of the Academy of Sciences Prague Geological Department) and Alexander Stipsits (Founding Director&CEO of the CFF) explored extensively the South West of the US, with special attention to the resident tribes lives and customs in relation to the landscape.
From 2005 Abbe Lipansky and Alexander Stipsits were cooperating with Prof.Kunito Nagaoka (Director of the Fine Prints Department at Kyoto Arts University) on his project to produce lifesize Taku Hon rubbings of the gravestones found at Šafov cemetary in Southern Moravia. This resulted in the Centre publishing a trilingual Art book with high quality prints of the rubbings and relavent texts in 2008. The original artwork and the book were presented at two very successful exhibitions in the Brno Mayor’s residence and the Barock Grainery of Primmersdorf in Austria.
